Inagural Post

Hi All! Instead of constantly loading you down with actual pages of my writing, I thought I’d try using a blog as a way of exercising my writing muscle and communicating with you, too. In this blog you can expect to read about whatever crosses my path and holds my attention long enough to form a thought. I’ll try really hard to convey those thoughts clearly and amusingly. I would die happy if I knew I was successful at causing a chuckle or even a grin in those I love on a regular basis. Let me know with a response when this happens to you.

I encountered WordPress, my blog host, when I was searching for a recipe for pumpkin enchiladas. I have one recipe, which is from Martha Stewart’s Food magazine, and wouldn’t you know it, the only recipes on the web I could find were all variations of hers. I settled for one from a WordPress blog, then became distracted by the idea of blogging. So now, an hour later, I have my own blog, and I plan to have my own pumpkin enchilada recipe, too. If it turns out good, I’ll post my recipe, then I’ll be on my way to being published for both humor and food writing. Ain’t technology amazing?
